Bloody Good Period got in touch with me to design their new campaign, #PoundsNotPads. While BGP usually receives large quantities of period products, processing donations was unmanageable in a post-COVID world. To solve this, they pivoted to bulk buying and direct postage, which has reduced waste and increased efficiency.
I came in to create a bold campaign identity and socials to get the public to donate #PoundsNotPads. Focussing on keeping the message clear, I designed a bold typographic campaign. I used censor bars and black backgrounds to make sure the posts stood out on Instagram on launch day.
#PoundsNotPads launched successfully on International Women's Day 2021. The campaign will continue to evolve as Bloody Good Period's work continues.
